In line with Oman’s Vision 2040 and the digital transformation, which focuses on adopting the latest technologies and utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for better accessibility, diagnostic accuracy, and cost efficiency, the Ministry of Health launched at the Intercity Hotel the national project for screening diabetic retinopathy using AI.

 

The launching ceremony was held under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al-Mawali, Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, with the presence of H.E. Dr. Hilal Al-Sabti, Minister of Health, and other senior ministry officials.
