The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) of UAE holds a Workshop on Occupational Safety and Health
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) of the United
Arab Emirates has recently organized a workshop on occupational safety and
health to review the best international practices in this field and develop
innovative solutions to promote the well-being of employees at work. The workshop featured a number of presentations discussing
the most common methods for fostering a healthy workplace and reducing
occupational injuries. This is in addition to interactive discussions on how to
promote a healthy and safe work culture. The event comes as part of the Ministry’s commitment to
supporting the National Standard for Occupational Safety and Health Management
System (OSHMS). H.E. Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman Al Rand, Assistant
Undersecretary for the Public Health Sector, MoHAP, stressed that the Ministry
is making every effort to enhance occupational health and safety at work, and
provide employees with a safe, healthy and sustainable work environment, to
