The Indonesian Ministry of Health
received a special recognition award in the Digital Health category from the
Asia-Pacific Action Alliance on Human Resources for Health (AAAH) through the
AAAH Award 2024 for its success in integrating electronic medical records (EMR)
through SATUSEHAT. The award was officially announced at the 13th AAAH
Conference in Lao PDR, October 27–31. At the event, the Indonesian Ministry of
Health also had the opportunity to showcase health technology innovations and
SATUSEHAT's achievements to delegates from various countries in the Asia-Pacific.
SATUSEHAT has become a national
health technology ecosystem that supports integrated and quality health
services. "Health data from all health facilities in Indonesia can now be
integrated through SATUSEHAT, which is expected to support data-based policy
making to improve public health services." To date, SATUSEHAT has
integrated more than 40 thousand RME systems in all health service facilities in Indonesia, with a total target of 60 thousand integrated health
facilities by the end of 2024.
