Indonesia's Ministry of Health launches TB Handbook

The Ministry of Health
launched the Tuberculosis (TB) Handbook and Flip Chart to bolster the capacity
of health workers and cadres to support the goal of eliminating TB by 2030.
In his statement,
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin noted that Indonesia is still facing a big
challenge in the handling of TB, which causes 136 thousand deaths per year in
the country.
To this end, early
detection and comprehensive treatment are needed to tackle the challenge.
