Training Course on Anesthesia

The Ministry of Health of Türkiye collaborated with SESRIC and the Turkish Society for Anesthesiology and Reanimation (TARD) for the organization of the “Training Course on Anesthesia” that took place between 1 and 11 November 2018, in Ankara and Antalya, Türkiye.
The training was organized within the framework of the OIC Strategic Health Programme of Action 2014-2023, Thematic Area 1 on “Health System Strengthening” and aimed to increase the capacities of the health workforce in the OIC Member States.
A group of 20 doctors from four OIC Member States, namely Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, were hosted in Türkiye for the 2-weeks training course, that included practical and theoretical sessions. In order to strengthen and complete their theoretical knowledge, the trainees also participated in the Turkish Anesthesiology and Reanimation Congress that was held in Antalya on 8-11 November 2018.
