The Indonesian Ministry of Health
through the Center for Data and Information Technology and the Digital
Transformation Office (Pusdatin-DTO) announced the results of trials on 14
Digital Health Innovation (IDK) organizers who participated in the Regulatory
Sandbox Program for the Telehealth Cluster Batch 1.

(BPOM), Transportation Ministry, and Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla) won the
2023 Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS) award from the president of
Indonesia. This is an award from the Indonesian president as a form of
appreciation for the ministries and institutions that have implemented GERMAS successfully and contributed to the health of the people.
Saudi Ministry of Health Launched an Awareness Campaign on Illegal Caesarean Sections & Premature Birth

launched an awareness campaign about violating caesarean sections and preterm
birth, which will last until August 19, 2023, targeting maternity departments
in private health institutions.
MOPH of Qatar Launches A National Medication Safety Program

implementing a national medication safety program, in cooperation
with the WHO Office in Qatar and the Regional Office for the Eastern

sector as well as patient representatives.
MoHAP of UAE Organizes Workshop on Climate Change, Health Vulnerability and Adaptation Assessment

Omani Higher Institute of Health Specialties Organized Stroke Awareness Day

The Higher Institute of Health Specialties
represented by Adult Critical Care Program batch (2022/2023) organized a
scientific day on stroke awareness. The event was held under the auspices of
His Excellency Hilal Hamad Al Sarmi, Chairman of the Health and Environmental
Committee of Shura Council and representative of Seeb, with the presence of Dr.
Manal Abdul Majeed Al Zadjali, Dean of the Higher Institute for Health
Specialties. A number of the Institute’s academic and teaching staff,
employees, students, and group of community members attended the event.
