The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Community Development in Gaza organized a workshop to discuss the classification of disability, with the participation and presence of representatives of associations, bodies, and federations concerned with the topic.

 

The workshop addressed coordinating joint efforts to develop and strengthen the system of services provided to the disabled.

WHO Celebrates Hand Hygiene Success in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Malaria is still the leading cause of Mortality and Morbidity in Sub-Saharan Africa though it is a preventable and treatable disease that is caused by parasites transmitted to people by the bites of an infected female anopheles’ mosquitos.

Ministry of Health (MoH) of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia launched a clinic for the post-COVID-19 condition, known as ‘long COVID’. This step is a continuation of the efforts MoH exerts to combat the pandemic and provide medical services to COVID-19 patients. The clinic targets individuals who still have COVID-19 symptoms a month after contracting the virus. It handles preparing the treatment plans that suit each patient in the main hospitals of all regions and governorates.

The workshop gathered a number of participants from the Armed forces Hospital, Royal Oman Police Hospital, Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Royal court Affairs and other facilities affiliated with the MOH.

PERKEDWI is a part of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) that promotes medical and health tourism. Medical and health tourism comprises pillars such as tourism medical, tourism wellness, aesthetic, scientific anti-aging and herbs, medical tourism, sports tourism, and health support on priority destinations.     

 

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia has adopted the concept to be the priority program in 2022.

ARF is a public health problem, which mainly affects children and adolescents. ARF is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children and young adults worldwide, particularly in developing countries.
